2nd Graders Tour Oregon Community Credit Union Branch
Melissa Wells (Teller, Downtown) arranged for a 2nd grade class from Cesar Chavez Elementary to come tour the branch. However, the class had one snafu, they had no transportation. But that didn’t stop the branch from hosting the field trip. Instead, along with a teacher, Melissa and Rebecca Larsen (Teller, Downtown) agreed to ride public transportation with the class to get them there. Once the kids arrived, the tour went great. The crew at the Downtown Branch broke the kids into groups and manned stations for the tour. Rebecca and Mallory Gates (Teller, Downtown) showed off the drive up, Ed Arolla(Branch Representative, Downtown) and Ethan Russell (Teller, Downtown) showed the vault, while Colin Simpson (Assistant Branch Manager, Downtown/Duckstore) and Romika Prasad (Teller, Downtown) let kids try out the coin counter. After it was all done, Melissa and Rebecca hopped
back on the bus to make sure the kids made it back to school. Talk about dedication to the cause!
